Get outdoors as often as possible. We are connected to our outdoor environment as well as our indoor surroundings. Nature can have a healing, peaceful effect on our well being. Bring nature indoors. The element of earth is associated with the health sector of your home. Live plants with fresh soil can greatly improve the flow of chi. Crystals can also add the earth element to the space and help purify the area.

Fresh air and natural light get the chi moving positively. Open windows to let fresh air circulate through your environment. Pull back heavy curtains and drapes and open blinds to allow in the natural sunlight. Limit your use of artificial light as much as possible by taking advantage of natural sunlight.

Remove clutter to allow the free flow of chi. The center of the home is the heart of the home and should be a clutter free area. Of course, it is best to keep the entire home as clutter free as possible since each area affects the various aspects of your life. Clutter represents obstacles.
